We are undergoing a major refurbishment program with the very kind assistance of the Jersey Construction Council and their members as part of the Jersey Construction Week Community Project September 12th to September 17th inclusive.

The Jersey Multiple Sclerosis Therapy Centre was opened in 1987 and was looking very tired and feeling its age.

We are extremely grateful to the Jersey Construction Council to have been chosen as the Community Project 2011 and to all of the contractors and suppliers who have donated their time and materials free of charge.

Here is a list of the contractors and suppliers who have helped to make this much needed refurbishment become a reality.

Camerons Ltd. - Geoff Taylor - Community Project Manager

Style Windows – Ed Poynton - Supply and fit New double glazed windows, entrance door and façade frontage curtain walling screen.

Romerils – Steve Jewell , Mike Alderman – Supply and fit New kitchen base and wall units including work top, drainer sink and taps.

Normans – Martin Costford – Supply new hot water cylinder fitted by Artisan Plumbers

Artisan Plumbers - Colin Russell – New tiles to kitchen area, Plumb in new cylinder, radiators and sink unit.

Tower Carpets and Flooring – Adrian Le Brocq – Supply and fit new carpet throughout.

Pentagon – Philip Noel – Supply of insulated plasterboard to upgrade the thermal properties of the ceiling.

E McGarragle Building services – John McGarragle – Installation of the insulated plasterboard to the ceilings.

ATC – Joe Walsh – Supply and fit new lighting and upgrade emergency detection lighting and smoke detection.

DGR Slatter Decorators Ltd – Derek Slatter – New Paint Decorations throughout, Paint supplied by The Paint Pot Colour Centre.

Harsco Hire – Chris Moore – supply of safety access equipment to carry out high level works.

Ransoms Garden Centre - Catherine Ransom - Discounted chosen soft furnishings and 4 free matching coffee tables

 

The left hand photos below show before the removal of fixtures and fittings and the right hand photos show after removal. Notice the space that has now been created.
